Thank to you the 8th grade families who attending our informational meeting on Tuesday! Hopefully, this was a helpful start to the high school application season! Remember, make sure you are applying only to schools you would accept a seat from. Applications close on December 15th- be sure to get all applications in before then!

Daniel Murphy Scholarship
If your student is interested in attending one of the many private schools in the city and they have demonstrated outstanding academic and community achievement, please make sure you are considering applying for the Daniel Murphy Scholarship.. Website, Title 1 and FUTURE Parents
Have you been asking yourself how you fit into the picture of your student’s future? Please join us for a series of workshops about how you can use our FUTURE values at school to be a FUTURE parent!
Sessions will begin on Thursday, October 5th, at 4:00 pm. See the calendar on the website for more details.
This meeting will also be used as a time to review our website and discuss how to use our Title 1 funds to support this! Please make sure to attend- your voice matters in your student’s FUTURE!
TESTING….TESTING
I am testing to see how many of our families have started checking out our website! You can let me know by doing one of two things- please start to follow us on Facebook (Casas- Acero Schools) and/or tell your student to tell me (Ms. Mix) the codeword on Monday- orange.
