In 2016, Casas founded "The Pilsen Chapter" of the National Junior Honor Society.  The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a nationally recognized organization that acknowledges students for demonstrating excellence in academics, leadership, character, citizenship, and service to their community.  Students in grades 6-8 are eligible for consideration for induction into the chapter.  For more information, please contact Chapter Advisor, Mr. James Schnura.
